It is derived from a gummy sap that oozes out of the Boswellia and Commiphora trees. Resin is the life - blood of the tree. It becomes the healer and protector when the tree is sick or wounded. Once the job is done it hardens it is respectively picked from for our use! In Ancient times it was used during rituals of cremation. It is used to healing and protection of our energetic bodies. Great for meditation because of its sedative properties. It has the ability to stimulate thought by connecting us to higher levels of consciousness and spiritual realms.
